Hommage to inspiration

A tribute to a source of inspiration, translated into form, body, and presence. The recognizable visual language of Piet Parra, with rhythm, repetition, and cut-out silhouettes, has been translated into a costume. An interpretation, an attempt to bring his visual world to life through material, posture, and movement. With the help of makeup and composition, a scene has been constructed in which the static image gives way to something living. A meeting point between stylization and reality, where illustration becomes body, and style a temporary skin.
